Brief Itinerary:

Day 01: Arriving Jammu - Katra (44kms)

Once you arrive at Jammu railway station our driver cum guide will receive you with warm welcome. And will take you to Katra. After reaching Katra check into the hotel and get refresh. Evening is free for leisure time. Have the rest in hotel, have the dinner and stay overnight at the hotel. Katra is a picturesque region in Jammu and Kashmir and it is known for its famed temple of Goddess Vaishno Devi. The temple receives thousands of tourists every year and travel to this shrine to pay their respects to the Goddess.

Day 02: Katra – Vaishno Devi - katra

After healthy breakfast at hotel you will be proceeding to Banganga to trek for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan Darshan one of the popular pilgrimages of India Situated in the lap of Trikuta Mountains across Katra at an altitude of around 5200 feet. This temple is located around 12 km away from Katra.To visit this temple you can hire pony or Travel by foot / Palkies from Katra. In the evening head back to hotel,have dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Katra.

Day 03: Katra – Srinagar (224Kms)

After breakfast at hotel proceed towards Srinagar.The Distance of 224 Kms will be covered in 6 to 7 hours. After reaching Srinagar check into houseboat get refresh and go for shikara ride in world famous dal lake. In the evening head back to houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After refreshing and acclimatizing, today you will explore the world famous mughal gardens namely Nishat Bagh (a terraced garden) was built in the 17th century on the banks of world famous Dal Lake by Mughal Emperors. After spending some time there, head towards another magnificent garden known as Shalimar Bagh (Garden of bliss).It has Zabarwan mountain range in the back drop forming a majestic view followed by cheshmashahi (garden of spring) another masterpiece built by Mughal Emperors. After soothening experience head back to hotel in Srinagar and overnight stay with the enthusiasm for the next day’s adventure.

Day 05: Srinagar – Sonmarg- Srinagar (80kms)

After refreshing, start your journey of approx 2 and a half hour to Sonmarg. The drive is not just like anywhere in Kashmir but the most scenic. 80kms of drive you will cross blooming orchids fields, meadows, snow clad mountains and a brisling sindh river. On arriving at Sonmarg you can go for a hike somewhere in the hills, have your own mini adventure and if the weather is good, you can go up to the thajwas glacier where the lower half of hills are half brown and they get whiter as you look up. There are locals offering snowboarding in the hills and even the ponies to ride at the magnificent god’s creation. In the evening return back to Srinagar and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Srinagar – Gulmarg - Srinagar (56 kms)

Oh yes! Finally a day has come when you visit the ultimate destination in Kashmir known as the Gulmarg (Meadows of flowers) the distance from srinagar to Gulmarg is approx 56kms.we suggest you start your journey a bit early. Well all of the Kashmir is beautiful but Gulmarg is not just the place but even the route to it will make your heart melt and sing. The route is full of pine trees, deodars, chinars, amaltas and kicker trees flanking the mountain sides and renders the tall hills and even greater beauty. Gulmarg is definitely one of the most scenic places in India. It is a top destination for skiing and other winter sports in all of Asia. After reaching Gulmarg, check in to your hotel and get fresh for the next adventure which is the Gandola Ride (Cable car).Gandola ride is world’s highest cable car which takes you all the way up to the peak of mountain Apharwat.The place is covered in snow throughout the year as is about 4000 meters high. The second phase of the cable car is not very far from the line of control between India and Pakistan. The second level is accessible only if there are no snow storms in the upper reaches of the peak. Apart from Gandola, the other attractions in Gulmarg are Golf course, sledging and skiing in winter and much more. In the evening head back to Hotel in srinagar for Dinner and overnight stay

Day 07: Srinagar – Pahalgam (56 kms) - overnight stay

After Breakfast Start your journey early towards Pahalgam (valley of shepherds) on the way you will see the most prolific view and famous places such as saffron fields, awantipora ruins, apple orchids, Kashmiri bat factories and the chinar trees in abundance. You can make several pit stops on your journey of 156 kms which is normally covered in about 3 and a half hour. Continuing your journey you will see the mountains and the meadows on both sides and soon as the lidder river joins you running parallel to the road, brisling and cold. Pahalgam is famous for various places to see out of which the three most famous places are Aru valley, Betaab valley and chandanwari. In the evening return back to hotel in Pahalgam for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08: Srinagar – Jammu (290kms)

Well the fact is we know that you don’t want to leave but every good thing has to come to an end. After breakfast our representative will take you to jammu. The distance of 290 kms will be covered in 7 to 8 hours
